Japan, 2016

Visiting Japan for the first time in 2016 was an experience that I will never forget. It was truly life altering. Not only is Japan a visually spectacular country, the food; culture; and people, all made the trip an even more pleasurable experience.

I spent three weeks there, from late May to mid-June, and never did I expect that I could come back from a very busy three week holiday itinerary and think to myself, “I’ll have to go back at least five more times before I even scratch the surface of things to do in Japan.”

I can’t wait to go back!

Thailand, 2013

Thailand, the land of cheap beer; beautiful beaches; a vibrant hospitality industry; exquisite cuisine; Muay Thai; and well, the list goes on. Two weeks in this beautiful country was both a phenomenal way to unwind (as well as escape the peak of a brutal Canberra winter in mid-June) and a way of cultivating a sizeable group of enemies from all of the holiday Instagram posts – cocktails and beaches etc.
